Terms and Conditions

1) Legally Binding Agreement: By accepting the quote with Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC, you are agreeing to a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed upon price. In the event that you break this contract, all deposits made to the company may be surrendered as damages and/or be billed for any special order chemicals, tools, or equipment ordered specifically for the jobs outlined in this contract. Commercial Jobs: Clicking Accept on this estimate you are confirming that you are legally authorized to sign contracts for the company. In the event you are not authorized to sign contracts for the company you work for you are accepting personal liability for all following terms and conditions and all payments and fees.
2) Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC should be notified immediately.
3) Water Usage: By accepting this agreement, you agree to provide Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
4) Electrical Usage: By accepting this agreement, you agree to provide Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an alternative source of electricity is required it will be at an additional charge.
5) Courtesy: While Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.
6) Payments: Payments to Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by Cash, Check, or Credit Card. Credit card payments will incur a 2.9% processing fee. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing prior to service. Residential: Late charges in the amount of $40.00 after 3 calendar days and $5.00 per day thereafter will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. Commercial: Late charges in the amount of 20% of job totals will be charged if payment is not received within 15 calendar days and $20.00 per day thereafter will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. Card On File: In the event the customer(commercial or residential) has a credit card on file, we will attempt to process the payment with the card on file to avoid the accrual of any late fees. This payment will be attempted on the 3rd day following service completion to avoid late fees. The customer (commercial or residential) agrees to pay any and all collection costs incurred by Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC related to the collection process of outstanding balances.
7) Scheduling: Scheduling in a business whose productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes to the schedule as far in advance as possible.
8) Cancelation: Sometimes things come up unexpectedly and you are not able to keep your scheduled appointment. In this event we will do everything in our power to reschedule you to a better time. If you need to cancel or reschedule please give us as much notice as possible. Late cancelations will be subject to the following cancelation fees. Cancelation within 48 hours of your scheduled service will result in a 50% charge of the quoted and agreed upon services. Example: House Wash $200 and cancelation 24 hours before the appointment will result in a bill due of $100. The above cancelation schedule will be in effect for the following services: House Wash, Window Cleaning, Deck or Fence Cleaning, Concrete Cleaning, Concrete Sealing, Gutter Cleaning. Christmas Light installation will use the following cancelation schedule. Cancelation with 8+ calendar days prior to scheduled service will result in no charge. Cancelation between 3-7 calendar days prior to service will be charged 50% of service price. Cancelation less than 72 hours (3 days) prior to scheduled appointment will be charged the full appointment price. Any and all cancelation fees will be collected with the credit card on file and subject to any processing fees listed in Section 6. In the event the card on file cannot be charged an invoice with a balance due will be sent and subject to the late payment terms of Section 6.
9) Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents: Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.
10) Damages: Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. We will make every effort to protect and preserve your siding. However, power washing, which entails removal of chalky, gritty or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC will not be responsible for such conditions. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process.
11) Stains: Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus(sphaerobolus stellatus), splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when first arriving at the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all. Other stains that may appear after service is complete is a brown to orange streak on siding and soffits coming from weep holes. This is normal and should come off with rain or a garden hose and is not a stain, nor is it permanent. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC is not responsible for removing drainage from weep holes after service is complete except for in extreme cases.
12) Property Condition: Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical service including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance or repair of electrical related items or doors, windows, or siding.
13) Common Situations: Please note that our services may result in water spots on windows. It is important to note that window cleaning is not included unless specifically requested as a service. We cannot guarantee that water spots caused by mineral deposits in the water (also known as hard water) will be completely removed during any service we provide. If window cleaning is requested, we will use our best efforts to provide a streak and spot-free finish by using a squeegee. However, please be aware that certain substances such as hard water deposits, artillery fungus (sphaerobolus stellatus), construction residue (caulking, paint, glue, sticker residue, etc.), and others may not be able to be completely removed during a standard window cleaning. Please be advised that we may need to remove screens and move items away from windows in order to provide an efficient service. By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations and agree that we are not responsible for any damage or residue that cannot be removed during our service.
14) Personal Property: We recommend the removal or storage of any products that may contain cotton from the exterior of your home. These could include but are not limited to wreaths, seat cushions, pillows, or any other decorative items that are fragile. Items against the siding of the home should be moved as well. These items could include but are not limited to: trash bins, bicycles, toys, lumber. Moving these items allows us to more fully clean your property and also protects you items from damage. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning LLC will not be responsible for items left outside or that may be in the way of the cleaning process. If it is important to you then it is important to us, please move it. An additional charge may be applied for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.
15) Wood Cleaning: During the wood cleaning process we will remove organic growth on the surface of the wood and the top layer of dead grayed wood. If the wood has been stained in the past the stain may be removed or the color lightened. We cannot control the color of the wood as it is a living organism and we do not do anything that affects the color of the cleaned wood. We only clean the wood to provide longevity and prevent premature decay of the wood.
16) Communication: By accepting this agreement you agree to receive text messages from us regarding you scheduled job. These may include reminder text messages informing you of your upcoming scheduled services and messages following your scheduled service. You also agree to receive periodic marketing emails from us. To unsubscribe to emails or text messages at any time please email us directly or reply "STOP" to any messages we send you that you do not wish to receive further. Powerhouse Exterior Cleaning will NOT sell or share your information with ANY 3rd parties, EVER. The information you provide to us is and will only be used for our purposes of communicating with you as OUR customer.
